In this stunning photo by Manomi Tennakoon, a diver floats in strong, angled light beams cutting through the water. Cenote Chac Mool gets very crowded mid-day, but if you arrive very early, you can often have the cenote to yourself! As well as early-morning light effects, the Chac Mool Cavern Dive has a strong halocline, a wall dripping with cave decorations, and a small air dome with breathable gas in which divers can surface.
